How IdeaPress works
IdeaPress is three steps: describe your brand once, let the agent research what's worth writing about this week, then have it write the idea you pick.
The workflow
1. Create a brand profile
Tell the agent who it's writing for: audience, voice notes, topics to favour, topics to avoid, target word count, and a few writing samples. This is the single biggest factor in draft quality — the samples set the rhythm, the voice notes set the tone. You can keep as many brand profiles as you like, one per site or client.
2. Run the research
On the Dashboard, pick a brand and (optionally) type a steer — a nudge toward a subject you already care about this week. The agent scans recent coverage in your niche and comes back with five ranked ideas, each with the live sources it leaned on. A run costs 2 credits and usually takes 30–60 seconds.
3. Pick an idea and write it
Each idea shows a headline, an angle, a "why now" note, and its sources. Click "Write this post" on the one you want and the agent produces a full formatted draft — headings, lists, a meta description, pull quotes and cited links. A draft costs 5 credits. Not keen on any of the five? Ask for five different ideas instead.
4. Edit, copy, publish
Drafts live in your library where you can edit the title, meta description and body, copy the formatted post straight into your CMS, or email it to yourself. Pin a draft to keep it beyond the 30-day retention window.
Common questions
- What exactly is a “run”?
- One research pass for one brand. It produces five ranked post ideas. It does not write anything yet — writing is a separate, optional step.
- What does a “steer” do?
- It biases the research toward a subject or angle you name, without locking the agent into it. Leave it blank for a general sweep of your niche.
- How are ideas ranked?
- Three things: timeliness (is this genuinely current?), brand fit (does it match your audience and voice notes?), and source authority (who is reporting it?). The score is a blend of the three, and the sources are shown so you can judge for yourself.
- What are pull quotes?
- Short, quotable lines lifted from the draft, ready to drop into a newsletter, a social post, or a callout box in your article layout.
- How do credits work?
- Credits are pay-as-you-go and never expire. A research run costs 2 credits; a written draft costs 5. Buy packs on the Credits page — you can see every charge in your credit activity.
- Can this run automatically each week?
- Yes. Open a brand profile and set a schedule (day, hour, timezone). The agent researches on that cadence and emails you the shortlist, so you just sign in and pick.
- Will you email me the results?
- If you switch it on in Settings. You can also email any shortlist or any finished draft to yourself on demand from its page.
- How long is my work kept?
- Research results and drafts are kept for 30 days, then deleted. Pin the drafts you want to keep — up to 25 at a time.
